An interesting pairing for St. Paddy's

Happy St. Paddy's weekend! In my early celebration o' the Irish this evening I tried something different worth sharing.

If you need a break at some point from the Guinness and green beer, I have a pairing for you. Try some L'Ecole Semillon with your leftovers of corned beef and cabbage. The butter aspect of the Semillon is enhanced by the corned beef and the flavors blend lovely. L'Ecole Semillon is available at most retailers but I know for certain they sell half bottles at Wine World if you're looking for a solo serving. ($10).

Most of all, enjoy everything Irish this weekend! For the numerous local St. Paddy's events happening for both beer and wine, check out the links under "Friends of the Libation"

Stay safe out there this weekend!
And...
"May you always have...
Walls for the winds
A roof for the rain
Tea beside the fire
Laughter to cheer you
Those you love near you
And all your heart might desire."
...(And of course, good beer and wine)
